Kris Munsch is the founder of The Birdhouse Project. After the death of his son Blake in 2005, Kris developed The Birdhouse Project as a tangible metaphor to help people rebuild their lives. Drawing on his experience as a wood shop teacher, and realizing the value of allowing people to participate in the learning process by working on a project, Kris drew the correlation between rebuilding our lives after a tragedy and constructing a birdhouse. He uses the parts of the birdhouse to symbolize the questions we need to ask ourselves, and the things we need to do, as we experience life changes after a loss. Listen and be inspired!
