Don Lewis, Bereavement Coordinator for UC Davis Hospice, and Hannah Hunter, Grief Therapist with UC Davis Children’s Hospital, discuss the effect of grief on young adults. Together they have been facilitating an eight week support group for young adults aged 17-24. Through simple art projects they are able to help them express their feelings and start talking about the grief that has touched them. For some, their grief has prevented them from moving forward in life.
The eight-week support series is open twice annually and begins in January and September. The upcoming series begins the evening of Thursday, February 9 and runs through March 30. View Invitation.
